SCHOOL INTRODUCTION

Deepen your Japanese knowledge and learn all about the Kansai dialect in this online course created in partnership with Communica Institute in Kobe. Out of all of Japan's dialects, Kansai-ben is perhaps the most well-known and one of the ones you'll hear often, especially if you want to travel or live in the region or if you enjoy watching Japanese comedy.

This 7-day course is designed for students who have at least a beginner level understanding of Japanese (approx JLPT N5/A1). It will teach you the main points of Kansai-ben and what the difference is between how Japanese is spoken in the Kansai region compared with the rest of the country.

You will receive easy-to-follow course material and be part of an online community with teachers, Go! Go! Nihon staff and other students. You will be able to complete the course in your own time and have access to the materials for 3 months after you join.
