Akihabara, also known as "Electric Town", is world famous as the IT mecca of Tokyo. When you walk through Akihabara, don't be surprised to see people wearing cosplay clothing as you may lose your sense of reality and feel like you've been pulled inside an episode of your favorite anime series. Akihabara is very popular among local "otakus", which has lead to hundreds of anime, manga, and video game shops being located here.

Whether you are looking for the latest high-tech gadget or you want to buy an old Nintendo game, Akihabara is the place to go! Also located in close proximity to the school is Asakusa. You can experience traditional Japan in Asakusa with its many temples and shrines. With a clear view of Tokyo's new Sky Tree, you can definitely feel the mixing of old and new Japan.

Beginner - 6 Months

Their motto is "to acquire real functional Japanese ability" so you will be focusing on how to express what you want to say from the very first day. From basic grammar to basic conversational skills, you’ll gain the ability to understand and express ideas. Upon Completion, you will be JLPT N4 level. Main textbooks: Survival Japanese, Minna no Nihongo 1&2.

Other Course Features

JLPT PREP ELECTIVE CLASSES

These JLPT classes will prepare you for levels N2 or N1. They will focus on teaching you techniques to pass the test and will focus on the different sections that you will encounter in the test.

HIGHER EDUCATION PREP

This elective class prepares you for the EJU test, which is required for all students aiming to attend university in Japan.

BUSINESS JAPANESE CLASSES

Study proper business Japanese and etiquette. This class is perfect for all students, especially those who are looking for full-time employment in Japan.
