SCHOOL INTRODUCTION

Located in Oita prefecture, Asuka Japanese Language School teaches students conversation and communication skills that they can take into their daily lives. All teachers at the school are fully certified Japanese language teachers.

The school has been operating since 1992 and has two sister schools, Asuka Beauty & Culture College and Asuka International Bridal & Hotel Tourism College. The school has more than 1,000 graduates in total and most of them have successfully continued on to further education and/or work in Japan.

Located at 1-4-22 Higashi Omichi, Oita City. The school is in the centre of Oita city, 3 minutes walk from Oita Station.

Oita prefecture is blessed with beautiful natural surroundings, being close to both the sea and mountains. It's also famous for its hot springs, with more than 4,400 in total across the entire prefecture. Oita prefecture has the highest ratio of foreign students to Japanese students in Japan, so students will have a chance to meet people from all over the world while still living in a more local area.

The focus will be on learning practical Japanese language skills that will be useful for living in Japan, with an emphasis on listening and speaking. The main textbook used is Dekiru Nihongo.

JLPT PREP ELECTIVE CLASSES

These JLPT classes will prepare you for levels N2 or N1. They will focus on teaching you techniques to pass the test and will focus on the different sections that you will encounter in the test.
