Communica Institute is based in Kobe and was founded in 1988. The school offers comprehensive and practical language courses, including courses that teach business Japanese and language skills required for graduate school in Japan. Communica Institute also approaches language education as something intercultural and encourages students to celebrate all cultures as well as their own.

Beginner

The beginner level teaches students basic Japanese such as how to respond to simple questions, how to talk about yourself as well as reading and writing basic Japanese on everyday topics. In three months, the school will give students handy Japanese skills that can be used both in and out of the classroom.

Other Course Features
JLPT PREP ELECTIVE CLASSES

These JLPT classes will prepare you for levels N2 or N1. They will focus on teaching you techniques to pass the test and will focus on the different sections that you will encounter in the test.

HIGHER EDUCATION PREP

This elective class prepares you for the EJU test, which is required for all students aiming to attend university in Japan.

CONVERSATION CLASSES

In this elective class, you’ll practice speaking and listening to increase your overall verbal communication skills.

BUSINESS JAPANESE CLASSES

Study proper business Japanese and etiquette. This class is perfect for all students, especially those who are looking for full-time employment in Japan.

JAPANESE CULTURE CLASS

Learn many different aspects of Japanese culture and life in this class. You’ll probably learn about things that you never knew were particular to Japanese culture.
